Together for Braunschweig: Simtec Supports Local Community Initiatives

Giving Back to Our Home City

Braunschweig is more than just our home — it is a community we are proud to be part of. We would like to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to Bürgerstiftung Braunschweig, an organization that stands exemplary for the many people and initiatives dedicated to strengthening and supporting our local community.

Displays for Braunschweig Schools

A few weeks ago, Simtec was able to donate several displays that were no longer needed in-house to three schools in Braunschweig. A big thank you goes to Susanne Hauswaldt from Bürgerstiftung Braunschweig, who connected everyone swiftly and made this donation possible. It is wonderful to see how quickly good things can happen when the right people work together.

Giving Circle 2026: EUR 33,900 Raised for Three Local Projects

Philipp Hellwig from the Simtec team also had the opportunity to attend the Giving Circle 2026 in Braunschweig, organized by Bürgerstiftung Braunschweig. The event brought together numerous supporters and initiatives from across the region — a true testament to the spirit of collaboration that makes Braunschweig so special.

A total of EUR 33,900 was raised for three outstanding local projects:

• Futter Teresa e.V. with “Futter Teresa on Tour”

• Mütterzentrum Braunschweig with “Wunschgroßeltern” — a volunteer grandparents programme

• Tiertafel Braunschweig with “Damit kein Napf leer bleibt” — making sure no pet’s food bowl stays empty

We are truly moved by how much can be achieved when a community comes together. We are also very much looking forward to welcoming the lucky guests who successfully bid on our two Dornier 228 Full-Flight-Simulator flights — we hope it will be an unforgettable experience!
