Simtec Systems GmbH, Braunschweig, Germany
Simtec Systems GmbH is the German engineering center and parent company of the Simtec Group, based in Braunschweig. We develop and integrate motion-based systems for the attractions industry, industrial test environments, and motion-driven media applications.
The Braunschweig headquarters brings engineering, project management, system assembly, integration, testing, and quality management together at one location. With approximately 6,500 m² of facilities, complex systems can be assembled, integrated, and validated in-house before they are delivered to projects around the world.
Simtec North America, Inc, USA
Founded in 2022, Simtec North America was established to support the installation, integration, and commissioning of a highly complex ride system for a major theme park in Orlando, engineered and manufactured by Simtec Systems in Germany.
Today, Simtec North America is based in the Los Angeles area and collaborates closely with creative studios, technology partners, operators, as well as IP and attraction owners. It serves as a direct link to Simtec’s global engineering organization, providing local expertise and supporting projects across all phases in the U.S.
Simtec Asia Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China
Founded in 2016, Simtec Asia Co., Ltd. is a 100% subsidiary of Simtec Systems GmbH. With its Shanghai location, Simtec established a stronger regional presence in China to support customers with direct communication, local market knowledge, and service closer to their projects.
Marketing, sales, and business support are based in Shanghai. In 2017, a service hub was established in Wuhan, staffed with qualified engineers and site coordinators for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and after-sales support. Through close cooperation with Simtec’s teams in Germany, Simtec Asia supports smooth project execution and reliable long-term customer service across the region.
Simtec simulation technology GmbH, Braunschweig, Germany
Simtec simulation technology GmbH is based at Braunschweig Research Airport. Its activities are dedicated exclusively to professional pilot training.
At its training center, the Simtec simulation technology operates the Dornier D228 flight simulator for pilot training on a dry-lease basis. Building on more than 30 years of ATO experience, its team of flight instructors and examiners (CRI and CRE) also supports customer-specific training programs for non-EASA operations.
Its self-developed and self-built full-flight simulator is the only full flight simulator worldwide for this aircraft type. Pilots from around the world travel to Braunschweig to take part in Dornier D228 pilot training
