Some ideas arrive as detailed requirements. Others start with a sketch, an unusual movement, or a simple question: Could this actually work? That is where our engineers come in.
Request now
Once an idea raises the question “Could this actually work?”, the interesting part begins. Maybe the movement has never been done that way. Maybe the available space seems far too small. Maybe two functions need to become one. Or the obvious technical solution simply does not feel like the right one.
How are we going to engineer that?
That is a question we like.
Simtec brings different engineering disciplines together early. Our custom engineering starts with understanding the movement an idea requires, finding out what is possible and defining the right technical path forward. From there, kinematics, motion system design and system architecture begin to take shape. Interfaces are defined, ideas become detailed engineering, and the technical concept grows into a coherent system.
Unconventional ideas rarely belong to just one discipline. Mechanics, motion, hydraulics, electrical engineering, controls, software and safety all influence one another. The real challenge is making everything work together without losing what made the idea interesting in the first place.
That is why we develop the complete system with all these dependencies in mind — so a challenging idea does not gradually disappear behind technical compromises.
Instead, it gets the engineering foundation it needs to become real.

Our engineering team brings the right disciplines together throughout the technical development process — from first concepts and feasibility to detailed engineering.
Mechanical concepts, structures and interfaces developed around movement, loads, available space and long-term operation.
Kinematic concepts, motion envelopes and system architectures that translate required movement into engineered motion.
Electrical architectures, drives, sensors and control systems developed as an integral part of the complete system.
Real-time software and control logic for coordinated movement, automation, operating states and external interfaces.
Safety concepts, risk analysis, safety-related control functions and defined safe states integrated into the engineering process from the beginning.
“Simtec turns vision into reality.”
