Jugend forscht Regional Competition in Braunschweig

On 27 February, the regional Jugend forscht competition, supported by Die Braunschweigische Stiftung, took place in Braunschweig. It was an inspiring day filled with creativity, curiosity and remarkable dedication — with students from many schools presenting their research projects to an expert jury. Our very own Philipp Hellwig took part as a juror, reviewing a wide range of impressive projects across different fields of science and technology.

The Simtec Special Prize Goes to “Aqua Connect”

This year, Philipp awarded the Simtec Special Prize — including a flight on our Dornier 228 Full-Flight-Simulator — to Cara, Julian and Lennart from Gymnasium Ricarda-Huch-Schule for their project “Aqua Connect – Wireless Underwater Communication”. Their innovative concept and strong technical approach truly stood out among an already impressive field of entries. We are thrilled to be able to give them an experience to remember!
